Wisdom Teeth
Wisdom teeth that are healthy and properly positioned can be a valuable asset to the mouth. Unfortunately, these teeth can become problems if there is infection or not enough room and cause damage to the teeth surrounding them.
Teeth can often become impacted because the jaw may not be large enough to accommodate them. They may grow sideways, emerge part way, or trapped beneath the gum and the bone resulting in jaw pain and migraines. X-rays will need to be taken to evaluate the shape, position, and condition of the your teeth. Before surgery we will explain what to expect and give you personalized instructions to follow. These general items make the procedure go smoothly. Dr. Mullenaux understands that this can be a scary procedure for most patients and makes it a priority to make his patients feel comfortable and at ease.
