Dental Bridge

A Dental Bridge is a fixed, non-removable, dental appliance. It is a replacement bridge of teeth used to fill the space of missing teeth. When you have a missing tooth, the nearby teeth may move in to fill the empty space. The teeth opposing the missing tooth may also move up or down toward the empty space. The shifting of teeth may cause issues with eating. It may also cause mouth or joint discomfort and pain. A bridge is designed to cover two healthy teeth on each side of the space to create an anchor for the pontic that will fill the space of the missing tooth as pictured. There are several types of dental bridges. A porcelain bridge is the most popular and is made to resemble your natural teeth in shape and color. The artificial teeth fill the gap created by one or more missing teeth.
