Bridges and Dentures

Complete and Partial Dentures

Complete and partial dentures are a removable appliance that are used to restore missing teeth. Complete dentures are required if you are missing all of your teeth in your upper or lower jaw. A partial denture is recommended if you have multiple missing teeth in your upper and lower jaw. Dr. Mullenaux can also use implants to anchor in a full denture to make your denture comfortable and meet your daily needs. Call our office today and schedule a consultation!

Dental Bridge

A Dental Bridge is a fixed, non-removable, dental appliance.  It is a replacement bridge of teeth used to fill the space of missing teeth. When you have a missing tooth, the nearby teeth may move in to fill the empty space.  The teeth opposing the missing tooth may also move up or down toward the empty space. The shifting of teeth may cause issues with eating.  It may also cause mouth or joint discomfort and pain. A bridge is designed to cover two healthy teeth on each side of the space to create an anchor for the pontic that will fill the space of the missing tooth as pictured. There are several types of dental bridges. A porcelain bridge is the most popular and is made to resemble your natural teeth in shape and color.  The artificial teeth fill the gap created by one or more missing teeth.

The team at Queen Creek Dental are comprised of super friendly, competent and efficient professionals. Dr. Mullenaux is very personable and always takes a few minutes to catch up with his patients despite how busy the office is. I no longer dread my dental visits thanks to the team at QCD.
